Areej Ashhab is a research architect whose work focuses on the politics of land in Palestine. She has participated in numerous projects as curator, artist and researcher including The Absent Map: Rural Jerusalem in an Alternative Narrative (2021-2022) with Riwaq association in Ramallah, Souq Stories (2021) exhibition in Palestine, and the Jerusalem Show IX: Jerusalem Actual & Possible (2018) with Al Ma’mal Foundation in Jerusalem. Ashhab holds an undergraduate degree in Architecture from Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, Jerusalem. She’s currently enrolled in MA Research Architecture at Goldsmiths, University of London.
