Hamse Abdullahi Jama (he/him) is a Somali-Norwegian migration and urban sociologist, archivist, writer, and cultural producer based in Oslo. His work moves between research, archives, and cultural production, exploring sound, memory-making, Black diasporic histories, and alternative ways of imagining the future. His work includes Black History Month Norway, Nature and Youth, and Warqad, a personal archival project that explores Somali identity through postage stamps and visual representation.
