Madihe Gharibi

Madihe Gharibi (b. 1995, Iran) is a writer and artist based in Oslo. Her practice is rooted in time-based and live art, with storytelling at its core. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Dramatic Literature from the University of Tehran and a Master’s degree in Fine Art from the University of Bergen. Before relocating to Norway, she worked in Iran as a playwright and theatre director. Since then, she has presented her work in exhibitions and performance contexts across Norway, Denmark, and Iceland. Alongside her individual artistic work, Gharibi has developed a strong focus on community-based and collective approaches, particularly through writing, storytelling, and participatory projects.
