Maha Maamoun is an Egyptian artist, curator and independent publisher. Her work examines mutable spaces in our cultural structures and imaginary. She is a founding board member of the Contemporary Image Collective (CiC) – an independent non-profit space for art and culture founded in Cairo in 2004, and co-founder of Kayfa ta – an alternative publishing platform (2012).
