Hanna Asefaw (hun/henne) er samfunnsgeograf, aktivist og skrive-/scenekunstner fra Oslo som gjennom eksperimentering av ulike uttrykksformer, blant annet poesi, musikk og nysirkus, formidler historier om identitet, frigjøring og minnene som sitter fast i oss. Med interseksjonelle og tverrkunstneriske perspektiv som sitt naturlige utgangspunkt, mestrer hun på sterkt og sårbart vis å skildre sammenhengen mellom det private og det politiske – det personlige og strukturelle – det nære og det svære.
Hanna Asefaw (she/her) is a human geographer, an activist and artist within literary- and performing arts, who through experimentation with various forms of expression tells stories about identity, liberation and the memories that are stuck in our bodies. Her art often communicates the connection between the private and the political, the personal and the structural.
