This meeting of the Al-Ard Book Club invites participants to read and discuss Honey Hunger by the Omani author Zahran Alqasmi (2017).
Azzan, a beekeeper in rural Oman, searches for wild honey across mountains and valleys while grappling with love, loss, and uncertainty. Richly grounded in Oman’s landscapes, the novel is a lyrical exploration of longing, resilience, and hope.
