Songs of Anemone – cries of the land and its people is a series of events occupying grief practice as a radical form of protest and a deep resource for vitality on an individual and collective level. We will dive into the subject through a residency at Kunstnerforbundet in Oslo, drawing on a collective map of grief practice through voice and body, while manifesting stories into masks and puppets in collaboration with Christa Barlinn Korvald. Various public interventions of performance, ritual, open workshops, and public grief tending exercises will take place during the Masahat festival as acts of solidarity and resistance acknowledging the mass collective loss that we are enduring.
